Each year, the Office of Sponsored Programs releases their Annual Report showcasing research and engaged scholarship activities throughout each fiscal year. I have been lucky enough to be asked to design their reports each year.
Dutch Ophthalmic recently released a new product, EVA, for commercial sale in the USA. I helped them develop their North American marketing campaign of magazine ads, online ads, event invitations and a banner stand for their events.
The School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) offers academic programs in Leadership Studies, Learning & Teaching, and School, Family & Mental Health Professions. This is the second year I have been asked to design their Dean’s Report, which is always an honor.
The University of San Diego, Climate Education Partners received a National Science Foundation grant to develop a climate change education plan for the San Diego region. The Partnership is working with local civic, business, government and education leaders to study local perspectives. The goal of the project is to understand how best to communicate the causes of climate change and its impacts, and how to adapt to, or prevent those impacts.
Having worked with Natalie for years, it was fun designing her art licensing business’ new logo. I’m happy with our collaborative results — playful typography and Natalie’s hand illustrated flowers. This logo is really sweet.
The Rolling Thunder postcard campaign was launched each year by the University of San Diego. I was the designer on this campaign from 2007 to 2015, and am proud to have been a part of it. This oversize postcard led the way among law schools nationally. As a result, we saw an increase in law school campaigns that looked suspiciously familiar. Imitation is the finest form of flattery. At least, that’s what “they” say…
